I received a campaign flyer on Thursday evening with a short list of people endorsing of Paul Rasch featured in it. In America we can endorse who we want to and support those we think best qualified and that’s the beauty of our country.
However one of the names Mr. Rasch is listing on his materials is Evelyn Robinson. Evelyn is a campaign supporter of Mr. Bill Crippen who is running for the at large seat in opposition.
Mrs. Robinson told me she did not authorize the use of her name, and that she would contact Mr. Rasch about this.
Another name on the endorsement list is Orange City Council person Tom Laputka. I spoke with Mr. Laputka about this and he confirmed his previously stated position that he is endorsing all six candidates for the three offices up for election and that he is not endorsing anyone over another.
People who are willing to run for elected office and those that volunteer to campaign for them are not served well by this behavior, and niether are the people of our country.
It seems as soon as someone does not go along with the puppet masters plan, they are targeted. Was there any conversion with Mr. Rausch? It is a wonderful country we live where we can speak our mind, even if it is only one sided as you so often do.
The City Manager (puppet master) does not have any ties to this problem. Mr. RAScH did use a name with out permission. Actions always speak louder than words.
Did Mr. RAScH use the name with out permission? Yes, he did.
Hugh, I think Ms. Curry is speaking of you as the puppet master. Tell the citizens why your chosen candidates will be good for Orange city rather than undermining other folks running for office.
Accoridng to reliable city employees the city manager ordered city emplyees, like Ms. Curry, to lobby and be loud at the budget hearing. It seems that the puppet master is an appropriate title to the city manager. I mean maybe you and Ms. Curry as just writing cause your string has been pulled. It is the pattern of political interference by the city manager that clearly gives him the title of puppet master.
Or maybe puppet master II after the previous occupant of the position.

Previously, I stated that “improper use of endorsements had nothing to do with the manager”, this was to indicate he has nothing to do with any campaign. As far as whether or not the endorsements are improper I do not know any details. Paul has always been straight forward and is experienced with campaigns so I obviously there is confusion rather than deception.
I have talked to Ms. Evelyn Robison and I now have two peices of campaign materials. he did not have her permission.
Mr. RAScH attempted to use the drawing of district lines to punish Council person Abraham, has been disrespectful in or out of meetings to numbers of people, and now extends his unethical activity. Constitutionally unsuited for public service is a widely held view.
