Special thanks to Kitty Allen, who sent us this photo called “Redneck Harley.” It’s been circulating all over the Web in e-mails. We don’t know where it came from originally – if anyone knows, let us know!
"The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out, the conservative adopts them." — Mark Twain
From “This Means War” to “Life in Interesting Times”
We (the editorial 'we') don't like war. We don't want it in our blog title anymore.
Just because we don't use it in the title doesn't mean the world isn't cursed with it.
According to legend, an old Chinese curse states, "May you live in interesting times." Interesting times are those of strife, war, civil discontent, catastrophe. We live in interesting times, yet as Charles Dickens noted, they're the best of times and the worst of times.
Through all the "interesting" stuff that goes on out there, we see the best of the human spirit at work.
