School boards are given enough money; they don't budget it correctly.
5 — Comment: I do not think that the REAL issue is whether School Boards get enough money or not. I think that the REAL issue is to simply get the government out of the business of education.
Decisive action, including measures that may not be welcomed by some business interests, must be taken to protect Florida from the ravages of overdevelopment.
2 — I do not think that the issue here is underdevelopment or over-development. If someone owns a piece of property, they should have the right to do whatever they like to with it unless: 1) The property is within a Homeowners' or Property Owners' Association and what the wner wants to do conflicts with the Restrictive Covenants 2) It violates the "Coming to the Nuisance" principle.
Offshore oil drilling could solve many of Florida's budget problems.
5 — Comment: We have an environmentalist movement that has done everything possible to prevent millions of gallons of petroleum from being utilized in (a) Arctic Tundra in Alaska, (b) Rocky Mountains in the form of oil shale and (c) Offshore seas. This has caused the price of gasoline to be far more expensive than it currently is.
The State of Florida is doing enough to create new jobs.
2 — Comment: The best thing the state of Florida can do to help the economy and help create more wealth and jobs is to stay out of the way of the free-market. I would propose passing a Florida Constitutional Amendment that would apply to all Florida government entities and would read as follows: "There shall be a separation of State and Economics. The State of Florida and all Florida county, city, or local government entity may not abridge the freedom of production and trade."
Accomplishment of which you are most proud: Ran for political office before to help spread Libertarian political philosophy.
Public-service goal you have yet to achieve: Get elected to office so that I may help steer government towards a Libertarian form of government.
