Linda Myers lives in Palatka with her husband, Vernon. She has lived and worked in Putnam County for 32 years. She has two children and four stepchildren, and seven grandchildren.
Myers has a bachelor's of science and a master's degree in accounting, both from the University of Florida.
She is a certified public accountant, and has her own CPA firm. She also is in her 25th year as owner of a Dunkin Donuts franchise, and in her sixth year as the owner of a Baskin Robbins; both restaurants are in Palatka.
Myers has served two terms as a Putnam County commissioner, and has 30 years' experience working with the Florida Legislature.
She was a member of the 2025 Florida Transportation Plan Committee, and was elected chairwoman of the Small County Coalition.
Myers has been involved with numerous organizations, including: United Way, Volunteer Putnam, Sunrise Rotary, the Women's Shelter, various education organizations, Habitat for Humanity, the Chamber of Commerce and the Health Initiatives Committee.
She is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Palatka, and a graduate of the Northeast Florida Leadership Academy and Leadership Florida.
