Sandy Adams lives in Orlando with her husband, John, and their three children: Sonya, Kat and Jack.
Adams has represented District 33 in the Florida Legislature since 2002.
She previously worked as a deputy sheriff for the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Adams is the co-founder and past president of the Central Florida Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors Inc.
