The Stetson University Hatter volleyballers dropped a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference matches in Nashville, Tenn., over the weekend at the hands of Belmont and league-leading Lipscomb.
The Hats return to the Edmunds Center at 6 p.m. Friday to host Campbell, and then at 4 p.m. Saturday, when East Tennessee State takes the spotlight.
Belmont won 26-28, 25-10, 25-15, 25-18. Sarah Sears had seven kills and 10 assists in the loss. Anna Becker recorded 19 digs, Megan Stewart contributed 14 assists, and Madison Anderson had seven kills.
Lipscomb improved to 15-0 in the A-Sun and 20-3 overall, winning 25-10, 25-12, 25-11. Sears and Stephanie Canfield each were credited with five kills, Stewart posted nine assists, and Becker picked up 14 digs, and Monique Russell added 10 digs.
