A pretty fair guessing week of 25-6 by Col. Eromlig boosted his season total to 168-59, and the 2009 football season continues to wind down.
Another week of guesses is at hand, with the undefeated DeLand Bulldogs (8-0) opening things up today, Thursday, Oct. 29, at Lake Brantley with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. This should be a good one, with the nod going to the ’Dogs, 24-10.
The Taylor Wildcats will be at home on Swanson Field hosting their county-line neighbors the Crescent City Raiders. It looks like the visitors will have too much depth in taking a 27-7 win.
The Deltona Wolves face their third-straight toughie Friday night, as the Daytona Beach Mainland Bucs invade their field, after facing Daytona Beach Seabreeze and the DeLand bulldogs. It looks like the Bucs, 39-7.
The Pine Ridge Panthers will be on the road to face Spruce Creek at the New Smyrna Airport Sports Complex, where the hosts look to take a 27-20 decision.
Another team on the road will be the Deltona Trinity Christian Eagles, as they head to St. Edward's School in Vero Beach. The hosts may escape with a 21-19 win.
The Lighthouse Christian Crusaders will be at home with Palatka Peniel Baptist, with the short-handed locals given the nod, 20-19.
