Good Samaritan Health Clinic in DeLand and its dental clinic in Orange City are being united at last. They will operate together in a new facility at 136 E. Plymouth Ave. in DeLand. The 5,086-square-foot former real-estate office is larger than the current two clinics combined.
An open house is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 5.
All the Good Samaritan doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, office staff and administrators volunteer their services to the clinic, as do a number of businesses.
Tens of thousands of dollars in donated equipment will be installed in the new clinic, including new dental facilities donated by A-dec Dental Equipment. Contributions are flowing in for other new equipment.
Anyone who would like more information about services should call Good Samaritan at 386-738-6990, or visit the website www.gsdld.org.
Tax-deductible contributions can be sent to Good Samaritan Clinics, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, at 136 E. Plymouth Ave., DeLand, FL 32720.
