Dog surrendered to Deltona officials after heated Facebook campaign

One dog has been surrendered to Deltona Animal Control — after a fierce two-day Facebook campaign to save two pit bulls known as Trigger and Bella went viral.
"It's been a battle," Cavern Terrace neighbor Brenda Gombola said.
She's the one who started the Facebook page Help Save Trigger and Bella.
When she started the Facebook page, she knew Trigger didn't have much time left, Gombola.
The owner surrendered the dog named Trigger to Deltona Animal Control officers April 2, City of Deltona spokesman Lee Lopez confirmed.
