Halifax Health has taken another step toward establishing itself in Deltona.
The Halifax Board of Commissioners April 1 voted unanimously to offer basic medical services to the public in a clinic on Saxon Boulevard, not far from the Interstate 4 interchange.
"We will be coming first with plans for moving into a primary-care facility," said Byron Cogdell, a spokesman for Halifax Health.
The Halifax Health facility will be a walk-in medical clinic, along with primary and perhaps urgent care, Cogdell said.
