On Tuesday, April 9, the day after a blaze burned three storage units and damaged two more, Kepler Storage and Industrial Park at 1551 N. Kepler Road in DeLand was quiet.
Volusia County Fire Services and the DeLand Fire Department sent a total of 25 firefighters to the scene early Monday morning, April 8. While firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, county spokeswoman Pat Kuehn said, the three burned units were a total loss.
April 9, co-owner Robert Cerame said he was waiting for his insurance adjuster to come inspect and make a dollar estimate of damages.
