Perrases to sing
Bill and Eli Perras bring their music and insights on “One Planet - One Habitat” to First Unitarian Universalist Church of West Volusia in DeLand at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, April 21.
This song and story program sends a message of how humanity needs to change course in caring for the Earth’s environment. This change is needed before we destroy the natural resources that this planet has provided.
The lyrics, given to and interpreted by Eli, are combined with Bill’s bluesy finger-style guitar playing to create a uniquely modern take on Americana music. Accompanied by soulful rhythms, they speak out with strong heartfelt lyrics against social injustices, corporate greed, and the daily follies in everyday life. The duo are regulars at many Florida folk-music venues and festivals.
Religious education for children of all ages is provided during the service.
