A new kind of market — a new kind of event — will debut in Downtown DeLand Sunday, June 2: an "indie" market with selected vendors offering everything from furniture and artwork to clothing and handcrafts.
The DeLand Indie Market at Artisan Alley will also have music and three food trucks.
Artisan Alley is already home to a weekly Friday-night farmers market, the Fourth Friday event that features local artisans and music, a Zumba fest on the second Friday of each month, and bigger events like DeLand's annual Craft Beer Fest.
This market will be different: It will be curated.
