posted May 24, 2013 - 6:17:37pm
Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe, based in DeLand, announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award in both the restaurant and shopping categories.
The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.
Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award. To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
"Kermit's is pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence," said Kermit Carpenter. "We strive to offer our customers a deliciously memorable experience during their visit to Key West, and this award is evidence that our hard work is translating into positive reviews on TripAdvisor."
The Certificate of Excellence award provides top-performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most — their customers.
Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe, whose manufacturing and distribution facilities call DeLand home, specializes in key-lime pie and was featured in 'National Geographic's Food Journeys of a Lifetime.
Delicious sauces, jellies, candies, and more, ALL with just a touch of key lime goodness are made right here in DeLand, as manufacturing space is nonexistent in Key West. Our two Key West locations are vacation "must-see" destinations on the bucket list of millions of Key West visitors every year.
Our DeLand location is a "hidden gem" that also has a showroom to sell our products to our local customers at 1842 Patterson Ave. Open Monday- Friday from 9am to 6pm to satisfy your Key Lime craving without a 400-mile drive to Key West!
