After completing an internship and surgical residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Messiner received a prestigious fellowship in vascular surgery from the Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Messiner’s interests in vascular surgery are abdominal aortic and peripheral aneurysms (AAA), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), carotid artery disease, vascular access and varicose vein disease.
Most recently, Dr. Messiner was an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at The University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa.
He is accepting new patients and most insurance plans. His new office is The Vein & Vascular Center of North Orlando, located at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Summit Building, 1061 Medical Center Drive, Suite 102, Orange City, and can be reached at (386) 917-7315.
Dr. Messiner’s arrival to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial comes on the heels of a recent hire of vascular navigator, Michelle Keith.
