This award recognizes Florida Hospital Fish Memorial’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center for achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for the past 12 months.
“It is a very prestigious award,” said Pam Harkrider, Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Program Director at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial. “It means we are one of the top wound care centers in the nation and have been identified as experts in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.”
To earn consideration for this award, a center must excel in several key performance indicators, including:
• Patient Satisfaction – Greater than or equal to 92 percent.

“Our staff is very excited to be recognized as a Center of Distinction,” Harkrider said. “It validates the quality of care and the dedication that they provide our patients.”
