Sorensen will be honored Aug. 13, at the 14th Annual “Gems in Communications” Great Communicator Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. at the Port Orange Cypress Head Golf Club. Board certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Internal Medicine, she earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Illinois.
The public is invited to attend the Aug. 13 event sponsored by Cypress Head Golf Club and Florida Health Care Plans, at Cypress Head Golf Club, 6231 Palm Vista St., Port Orange from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. The registration fee, which includes lunch, is $18 for students, $20 for FPRA members, and $25 for non-members.
