Construction is on-going at the Florida Hospital DeLand visitor's entrance.
The hospital is removing a number of hard half-walls that surrounded the seating area and the handicap ramp and replacing them with glass walls, decorative handrails and new tile flooring.
This $75,000 renovation should substantially improve the entrance, making it much more accessible and safer for both patients and visitors with better lighting to feature the historical mural. Construction is expected to be completed by July 22.
