After a close game and a loss to New Smyrna Beach, the University (Orange City) High School Titans football team seemed hesitant in the first half of the game against the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs. However, neither team was ready to give up when it came to the second half.
In the third quarter, the Bulldogs brought the score up to 6-0, and the game's fate seemed inevitable. When the fourth quarter rolled around, the Titans showed they weren't going down without a fight. Tyler Aziz scored two touchdowns, back to back, within nine seconds of each other and caught the crowd completely off-guard. With a score of 14-6, the Titans held off the Bulldogs until the end of the game and walked away with a well-deserved win.
"We weren't playing like we would normally play in the first half. We came into the second half with our heads in the game, and we were able to pull off a victory. I'm proud of my team; my boys have been training hard, and they did good," said Captain Anthony Dozier.
