In conjunction with the exhibitions "Forging an Identity: Contemporary Latin American Art" and "Private Spaces - Mexico: Photography by Les Slesnick," the Confluence of Cultures Programming at the Museum of Art - DeLand continues to explore Latin American and Hispanic artistic expression and impress visitors to, and residents of, Central Florida alike.
A gallery talk will be at 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Museum of Art-DeLand, 600 N. Woodland Blvd.
The Gallery Talk is free and open to the public and celebrates the state's Viva Florida 500 initiative.
Additional Confluence of Cultures programming at the Museum continues through the end of the year and will include a Poetry Slam, Rated Triple F Film Series and a Panel Discussion titled American Dream - Immigration Nightmare. Visit MoArtDeLand.org for more information.
