Button up your overcoat; it's going to be cold

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for West Volusia, in effect 4 a.m.-10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3.
Temperatures are predicted to drop to a low of 39 degrees overnight tonight, Thursday, Jan. 2, combining with northwest winds of 15-20 mph, to create wind chill factors between 30 and 35 degrees toward sunrise Friday, Jan. 3.
"If you must venture outdoors, dress warmly in layers and make sure you wear a hat and gloves," forecasters advise.
A high of 54 degrees is expected later in the day.
