Jill Edgington from the Watson Realty Corp. DeLand office was named Manager of the Year last week at the company’s president’s meeting in Palm Coast.
“I’m excited and honored to receive this prestigious recognition of Manager of the Year,” said Edgington. “It’s really rewarding to receive such an award, and this will only serve as motivation to make 2014 an even better business year.”
The Manager of the Year recognizes the managing broker for criteria such as their extraordinary performance, contributions to the company, overall success of their office, use of the family of services, and sales production.
The DeLand office recently won the award for top producing office with more than $61 million in closed volume at the company’s Central region annual awards ceremony. The office also received recognition as highest in the Central region for number of closed units, per person productivity and number of listings taken in 2013 at the president’s meeting.
“We are very proud of Jill and her associates and what they have achieved in a real estate market that traditionally has lower priced homes. It just illustrates, how a great team, led by a great leader can achieve fantastic results,” says Jeff Fagan, regional vice president and managing broker of Watson Realty-Orlando.
Edgington joined Watson Realty Corp. in 1990 and has been vice president, managing broker in the DeLand office since 2000. Edgington is a licensed real estate broker, Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and certified Real Estate Success Coach. She serves on the Board of Directors for Watson Title Services and is a representative in Central Florida for Watson Cares, a charity organization. In her spare time, Edgington likes to spend time with her family.
