Lake Helen’s Food Truck Affair a success

The first food-truck event at Blake Park in Lake Helen was a hit March 22.
Hungry patrons started lining up early to sample the wares in the mobile restaurants.
There was everything from beignets to briskets at the five food vendors, and, the event included the brick-and-mortar restaurant 3 Sisters Ice Cream Palace.
The Lake Helen City Commission has briefly discussed making this type of happening an annual event, depending on the success of the inaugural Food Truck Affair.
