Florida Hospital Fish Memorial has selected Alyssa Picone to serve as patient experience manager.
In this new role, Picone will be responsible for driving culture change to ensure that every patient, visitor and employee experience is in conjunction with Florida Hospital’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ. She will lead the hospital’s patient experience initiative by working with physicians, leaders and front line teams to ensure an enhanced patient experience.
Picone most recently served as administrative fellow and led the patient experience program at Vanguard Healthy Systems in Chicago, Ill. In this role, she was responsible for completing administrative projects in various areas, including: governance, medical staff development, operations, managed care, ambulatory care, policy, finance, The Joint Commission, patient experience and marketing.
Picone, a Maitland resident, earned a Master in Business Administration in hospital administration and designation as a registered and licensed dietitian from Dominican University in Illinois. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in dietetics from Michigan State University.
