Easter Egg Hunt, today, Thursday, April 17

The DeLand Parks and Recreation Department, Duane’s Sunshine Cleaning, and DeLand Elks Lodge 1463 are hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt Thursday, April 17, at Bill Dreggors Park, 230 N. Stone St. in DeLand. The event is for children age 12 and younger.
An egg crawl in the Lemon Room at the park for toddlers age 2 and younger will be at 5:15 p.m.
Following that, children will be divided in age groups for their egg hunts. Ages 3 and 4 will go at 5:50 p.m.; ages 5 and 6 will go at 6 p.m.; ages 7-9 at 6:10 p.m.; and ages 10-12 at 6:20 p.m.
Bring your camera, and take photos with the Easter Bunny right after the egg crawl.
The Elks will provide hot dogs at 5:45 p.m. for the participating children.
