The Museum of Art - DeLand presented its seventh annual “Camp Create Exhibition” Aug. 16, celebrating seven weeks of art-integrated educational classes taken by area children ages 6-12.
Camp Create was developed in 2008, and is an extension of continued art programming that was created for children when the museum was established in 1951. Images from each week can be viewed on the museum’s Facebook page and at MoArtDeLand.org.
Family Fun Saturdays at the Museum of Art - DeLand will begin 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the museum's 600 N. Woodland Blvd. location, and will continue through May 2015 on the third Saturday of each month.
Family Fun Saturdays allow families and visitors to spend time together engaging and learning new art techniques, and touring current exhibitions in the galleries for free.
