BUZZTeam Multimedia of DeBary is almost four companies in one, with talented specialists overseeing different services that can be mixed and matched depending on a customer’s wants and desires.
For instance, a couple planning a wedding might want to use BUZZTeam’s marketing and graphic-design branch to create invitations or other printed wares, the event experience segment to set up the venue and provide the entertainment, and the photography and video-services branch to make the permanent keepsakes, whether from ground level by traditional photographers or from high overhead from unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones.
“We put a team of experts into one group, and we can work together or individually,” Russ Goodridge, the company’s president, chief executive, and director of UAV aerial operations said at a recent grand-opening event (albeit a year after opening) with the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce & Orange City Alliance in Downtown DeLand.
BUZZTeam has done a little bit of everything in the company’s first year, Goodridge said, from corporate events to branding to aerial photography.
“We’re based in DeBary, but we can go as far as needed,” he said. “Eventually we’re planning to go national, but we’re staying within Florida at this point.”
Goodridge is an FAA-certified pilot, so he has few restrictions on his UAV flights. He said he can capture aerial images and data for use in construction, advertising, promotional videos, real estate, special events and lots more.
Keirsten McDaniel oversees the company’s marketing and media operations, and provides the services for weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, grand openings, fundraisers, and a whole lot more.
“We can do your wedding differently,” McDaniel said. “For instance, we had a couple who wanted to get married in Paris [France], but couldn’t afford to go there. So BUZZTeam brought Paris to them.”
BUZZTeam’s crew pumped a layer of fog onto a dance floor with a backdrop composed of the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops, McDaniel said. That allowed the couple to dance on a simulated cloud over a Parisian streetscape — with no passport required.
McDaniel’s marketing and graphic-design division also can help businesses improve their online presence and website functions, while creating graphic designs that are modern and better express a client company’s identity.
For instance, the DeLand Chamber’s recently unveiled new logo and redesigned website, as well as signage for events, were created by BUZZTeam, said Daniel Lee, the organization’s membership and marketing director.
The other divisions are similarly talented and unique.
