Police are investigating a vandalism incident that occurred Sunday morning in Downtown DeLand.

Officers were dispatched shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday to 142 North Woodland Boulevard after receiving a report that flower pots belonging to the City of DeLand had been damaged.

Authorities found three flower pots had been tipped over including one that had its foundation ripped off. The city plans to replace the damaged pots. Detectives are following up on various leads to identify who may have been responsible for the damage.
