Gather your friends, and get ready to rock with SFO – A Tribute to Journey at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the Athens Theatre in DeLand.

SFO, a six-pack of top-notch musicians from Florida, Minnesota and Nashville, Tennessee, with decades of touring experience, will transport you back in time by authentically re-creating the music and live concert experience of three of the biggest rock ’n’ roll bands in history: Journey, Foreigner and Kansas.

Frontman Gabe Jacobs will astonish you with his passionately soaring vocals. These are accompanied by signature guitar riffs and hair-raising guitar solos, warm glistening harmonies, and lush keyboard melodies, as well as expressive, high-energy drumming and rock-solid bass guitar. The sound will pick you up and drop you in the 1980s.

SFO plays all the Journey, Kansas and Foreigner classic songs you know and love, including “Separate Ways,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Lights,” “Open Arms,” “Faithfully,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Carry On Wayward Son,” “Dust in the Wind,” “Hold On,” “Hot Blooded,” “Blue Morning, Blue Day,” “Urgent,” “Feels Like the First Time” and many, many more.

The Athens Theatre is at 124 N. Florida Ave. in Downtown DeLand.
