Phantasmagoria has been called a truly unique theater troupe, and they are returning to the Athens Theatre in DeLand for one night only Friday, Oct. 25.
Direct from their ongoing sold-out performances in Central Florida and tour cities, Phantasmagoria is proud to present their 10th-anniversary main-stage installment of their long-running series Phantasmagoria X “Reckoning” to celebrate the 2019 Halloween season and their unique brand of whimsical macabre terrors!
With the critically acclaimed success of the past nine years’ installments, as well as special events and appearances throughout the year, the brand-new Phantasmagoria X “Reckoning” thunders onto DeLand’s historic stage with all-new tales of terror!
Live performers, “Phantastical” dance, explosive stage combat, large-scale puppetry, and haunting storytelling combine to create a tapestry of macabre and whimsical horror!
Join Phantasmagoria’s evocative troupe of storytellers, dancers, and chorus as they embark on their all-new dark journeys through literary tales of terror, horrific folk stories, legends and myths. From the terror of a beast hidden deep within in “The Horla” and the Penny Dreadful horrors of “Sawney Beane,” to the imaginations of the Brothers Grimm, Edgar Allan Poe, and much, much more, Phantasmagoria X “Reckoning” is sure to set the tone for a truly Phantasmagorical Halloween season!

The Athens is thrilled to bring Phantasmagoria X “Reckoning” to DeLand at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
The historic Athens Theatre is at 124 N. Florida Ave. in Downtown DeLand.
Tickets cost $25 for preferred reserved seating (first five rows center orchestra and first two rows center balcony) and $20 for general reserved seating. A $3-per-ticket processing charge and 6.5-percent sales tax will be added to each purchase.
