The 2019 Business Awards will be handed out in late October, when the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce annually honors businesses for their significant roles in driving the region’s business community and economic growth.
To be considered for a Business of the Year award, an organization must be setting the standards for excellence and innovation with its business practices and community involvement.
The event will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Venue 142, 142 N. Woodland Blvd. in Downtown DeLand.
Winners will be announced at a Business Awards Celebration, an Academy Awards-style event for the West Volusia business community.
The 2019 nominees are: Ace Hardware of DeBary; Air Care of Central Florida; All Things Catering LLC; Allen Thompson, Realtor, EXIT Realty; Alternate Design Plumbing Inc.; CareerSource Flagler Volusia; Central Florida Home Pros LLC; Central Florida Pregnancy Center; FRM Professional Services; GWN Securities Inc.; iBuild Academy Inc.; Jacob Heating & Air Conditioning; Landis Graham French, P.A., Attorneys at Law; Performance Tire and Wheel Inc.; and Still Some Good Inc.
The cost to attend is $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Register through the Chamber’s website, westvolusiaregionalchamber.org.
