AdventHealth recently donated nearly 400 bras to help local women in need.

Throughout October, the AdventHealth facilities in Volusia and Flagler counties hosted an array of events to celebrate women’s health and help fight breast cancer. The events ranged from Zumba classes to women’s health expos, as well as luncheons and 5K races.

During these events, participants were encouraged to donate new bras to The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia for homeless women, Family Life Center in Flagler County for victims of domestic and sexual violence, Family Renew Community in Volusia County for homeless families, Cudas Unhooked for homeless and at-risk teens in the New Smyrna Beach community, and Heart Strings Breast Care and Women’s Boutique in New Smyrna Beach for breast-cancer patients and survivors.
