The City of DeLand will open its cold weather shelter tonight.

With temperatures expected to drop below 40 degrees Monday night into Tuesday, the city will open its cold weather shelter at the Chisholm Community Center, 520 South Clara Avenue.

Volunteers are still needed to fill out some of the later and early morning shifts at the shelter.

Those interested in volunteering should contact Volunteer Coordinator at Anslee Holland at Anslee.holland@nhcwv.org or 386-259-0088.
