The SPCA of Volusia is in need of volunteers in West Volusia to foster cats and kittens while they are awaiting adoption.
Also needed are transporters to transport pets from foster care to veterinarians for check ups and spay and to local pet stores for adoption.
The SPCA is a nonprofit volunteer rescue established in the area in 1977.
