

Four members of the Orange City Council have been appointed to serve on the Florida League of Cities 2021-2022 Legislative Policy Committees.
Vice Mayor Kelli Marks has been appointed to serve on the Land Use & Economic Development Committee, Council Member Bill O’Connor has been appointed to serve on the Transportation and Intergovernmental Relations Committee, Council Member Alex Tiamson has been appointed to serve on the Municipal Administration Committee, and Council Member Martin Harper has been appointed to serve on the Finance, Taxation and Personnel Committee.
As Legislative Policy Committee members, the Orange City officials will help develop the League’s Legislative Action Agenda, as well as help League staff understand the real-world implications of proposed legislation.
Committee members are also asked to serve as advocates for local decision-making throughout the legislative process.
