Artwork from Volusia County Schools high-school students is being showcased at the “Art Stars of Volusia County High School Exhibition,” which continues through Sunday, Aug. 29, in the Founders Gallery at The Hub on Canal, at 132 Canal St. in New Smyrna Beach.

The Hub on Canal is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday. The public is invited to attend, and admission is free.

Artwork created by students from six high schools has been selected for Art Stars of Volusia. The show consists of 2D art, 3D art, and photography created by VCS’ Advanced Art Programs students.

The annual exhibition showcases top artwork from the VCS spring exhibitions and State Art Award recipients. These art selections include the winners and standouts from the Scholastic State Art Exhibition, Volusia Students Create, Volusia Select, and individual high-school exhibitions.
