Volusia County’s Purchasing and Contracts Division has received a 2021 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute. The division has won this award 14 times, including the past eight years in a row.
Volusia County is one of 182 agencies in the United States and Canada, and one of only 42 counties, to receive this award, which recognizes innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership and e-procurement.
Led by Pam Wilsky, the Purchasing and Contracts Division is tasked with maximizing the purchasing value of public funds and providing safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.
