Chef Phil Pierce has been promoted to executive chef at Cress Restaurant in Downtown DeLand.
Chef Phil has led the culinary experience at Cress for more than a year now to rave reviews, said owner Tom Brandt. Pierce will be celebrating his second anniversary with Cress in a few weeks.
“Phil’s dedication to exploring new flavors and creative globally inspired cuisine is evident in our weekly specials and recent menu additions,” Brandt said in a weekly newsletter. “Please join us in congratulating Chef Phil.”
