With 1 of 1 precinct reporting, Lake Helen voters have elected Cameron Lane as their new mayor, with 475 votes to contender Vernon Burton’s 338.
Incumbent Zone 1 commissioner Kelly Frasca lost to newcomer Heather Rutledge, with Rutledge earning 499 votes to Frasca’s 289, or 63 percent to 37 percent.
816 votes were cast out 2,321 voters for 35 percent voter turnout.

You wont see ANY buisiness in Lake Helen if the Commercial Fire Tax isn’t changed. Home owners pay $242/yr. Home based buisinesses pay $242/yr and Rental homes pay $242/yr but Commercial properties pay $7200/yr! UNFAIR!
The local police department needs a major change they hung up on me during a call when a truck was riding reckless as can be and when I called the chef he said well that’s not her job you say the police station you should have called a different number I told him I googled it I didn’t have time to research and he didn’t care about it
