Sales to start soon in last phase of upscale DeBary community

Now in its ninth and final phase, Riviera Bella — The Henin Group’s upscale, single-family home development along the St. Johns River — is preparing to welcome its last group of new families.

According to The Henin Group’s president and CEO Jerome Henin, site construction just off Fort Florida Road near Lake Konomac was completed by Jon M. Hall Construction of Sanford and the 153 homesites were sold to Dallas-based D.R. Horton.

“The builder has closed on their first 36 homesites and construction is now underway,” Henin said in a news release, adding that all of the remaining sites should close by the end of next year.

D.R. Horton is offering three-, four- and five-bedroom homes ranging in size from 1,672 to 2,807 square feet and priced starting in the mid-$300,000s.

With an anticipated sellout by 2022, Henin said the development — which started in 2004 — is more than two years ahead of projection.

“The opening of phase nine marks the completion of the entire 710-homesite community,” Henin said.

Riviera Bella is a private and secure residential community located along the eastern edge of the St. Johns River in DeBary. The award-winning Riviera Bella is divided into villages, with production homes pricing from the mid-$300,000s and custom homes that are priced up to $2 million.

The community is master-planned for 708 single-family homesites. Riviera Bella features a range of lot sizes and product offerings, including 50-foot- and 75-foot-wide lots, with many on water or conservation areas, 100-foot estate lots and 100-foot riverfront lots with the ability for each to have a private dock on the St. Johns River.

The community offers extensive natural amenity, with numerous conservation areas within the site’s total 223 acres, together with interior lakes, ponds and the St. Johns River on its western border.

Combined with the site’s natural features are additional community amenities, including a gated and guarded entry, resort-style clubhouse with pool, fitness, game and social areas, a children’s playground, a riverfront park with gazebo and picnic areas, and a private community boat ramp onto the St. Johns River for use by residents only.

Henin, a native of France and the founder and owner of several companies involved in real estate development and sales, has more than 30 years of experience in property development in Europe, Florida and Virginia. Riviera Bella is his largest Central Florida development.
