Mr. Goosby, I explained the repercussions of canceling our binding roofing contract. Our company had already ordered materials and paid for the roofing permit for your home. We only ask for a good faith deposit up front upon signing a contract with our customers. All other dollars are due upon a satisfactory roof install. When you unexpectedly decided to back out of the contract, our company could have held you liable for the full contract amount. We did not. The deposit covered our expenses incurred by moving forward with what you agreed to in the contract. Please be careful to include all facts before you slander another company. Thank you.
