The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County will host two COVID-19 vaccine clinics in December for all persons eligible to receive vaccinations, including newly eligible children age 5 and up.

From 3 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, COVID-19 vaccination shots will be available at 1845 Holsonback Drive in Daytona Beach and 775 Harley Strickland Blvd. in Orange City.

Adults will be able to choose among the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, while children ages 5-17 will be able to receive doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Follow-up appointments for people who receive a two-shot vaccine — the Moderna and the Pfizer vaccines — will be available Dec. 28 at the same location as the first shot.

No appointment is necessary for the Dec. 3 vaccination clinics.
