Tickets are now on sale for the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Economic Forum: Development – Challenges – Opportunities.
The forum will be held 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at The Center at Deltona, 1640 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
The keynote speaker will be Mark Wilson, president and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. A panel discussion will include Wilson; Keith Norden, president and CEO of Team Volusia Economic Development Corp.; Kent Sharples, president and CEO of the Volusia CEO Business Alliance; and Helga van Eckert, economic-development director for Volusia County.
West Volusia cities also will be represented: Shari Simmans, director of economic development, communications and government affairs for the City of DeBary; Becky Mendez, development-services director for the City of Orange City; Nick Conte, economic-development manager for the City of DeLand; and Jerry Mayes, economic-development and ecological-tourism sustainability manager for the City of Deltona.
