Bed Bath & Beyond selling out, closing down in Orange City

BEACON PHOTO/AL EVERSON POST-HOLIDAY SALE — The Bed Bath & Beyond store in the West Volusia Towne Center in Orange City is counting down its days until closing. The store at 963 Harley Strickland Blvd. is one of 37 outlets the New Jersey-based retail chain is closing in the coming weeks and months, the company announced.

A national retail chain is shutting down in Orange City.

Bed Bath & Beyond is liquidating its merchandise and preparing to close up shop at 963 Harley Strickland Blvd. in the West Volusia Towne Center. The Orange City store is one of 37 stores in 19 states Bed Bath & Beyond has announced will be closed.

“After careful consideration, Bed Bath & Beyond has decided to close the Orange City location in the coming months, as part of our previously announced store-closure plans,” the company said in a statement sent to The Beacon. “We previously shared this information with our valued Associates and store-closing sales have already begun. While the decision to close is always a difficult one, Bed Bath & Beyond looks forward to serving area customers at other stores, including in Sanford, Oviedo, Apopka and Daytona Beach, as well as online.”

Bed Bath & Beyond’s corporate headquarters are in Union, New Jersey.

  1. Al, I have a problem with Debary . They have fined me 1250.$, and now 500.$/day because I have Natural Florida Yard, and didn’t show for a hearing I wasn’t notified of. Debary states in their newsletter that turf gras fertilizer is the #1 reason for pollution of the waters downhill and downstream of us. I use no fertilizer nor water on my homestead. I will do the right thing, defend the defenseless environment
