Due to requests from the participating cities and concern regarding the current COVID-19 omicron variant outbreak, the West Volusia Regional Chamber’s 2022 Economic Forum — which was originally scheduled for Jan. 18 — has now been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 5.
The event is being held at The Center at Deltona, and is a two-part program that will be televised on Deltona TV. The program starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. The first part of the program will highlight the economic-development directors from the cities of DeBary, DeLand, Deltona and Orange City. The second part will highlight the Volusia County Council representatives and Keith Norton representing Team Volusia Economic Development Corp.
The keynote speaker for the program is Mark Wilson, president and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets cost $20 and are available on the WVRC website’s Chamber Event Calendar at www.westvolusiaregionalchamber.org. A continental breakfast will be served.
