The 25th annual DeLand Dog Parade will take over the streets of Downtown DeLand Saturday, Feb. 26.
The theme this year — celebrating the popular event’s 25th year — is Mardi Gras.
The parade begins at 11 a.m., but expect Woodland Boulevard to close from Plymouth to Howry avenues beginning around 8 a.m.
The parade will begin at the intersection of Woodland and Michigan Avenue and travel south.
The annual dog costume contest and winner announcement will occur before the parade (from 8 to 10 a.m.) at University Avenue and Woodland Boulevard.
The fun continues with a festival on West Georgia Avenue with music, food and vendors.
