West Volusia drivers need remediation

Editor, The Beacon:

The drivers of West Volusia have forgotten what they learned in school.

They do not comprehend their numbers — the big black ones on the rectangular white signs.

They do not recognize their primary colors — red, yellow, green.

They do not remember their shapes — hexagon, triangle, rectangle.

Instead of intermittent written and eye exams, perhaps the Department of Motor Vehicles should require remedial kindergarten.
