LEADING THE WAY — Janet Wilson, membership and marketing director of the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce & Orange City Alliance, is taking the lead role in promoting the West Volusia Wellness Initiative and its related network of providers.

The West Volusia Wellness Initiative, a partnership initiative of the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce & Orange City Alliance and the West Volusia Tourism Advertising Authority, soft-launched on April 15, 2020.

During the past 24 months, the initiative has grown through awareness, community partnerships and more than 160 W.I.N. providers, in all eight dimensions of wellness throughout West Volusia. Chamber and authority officials are beyond excited to complete the mission this year.

The West Volusia Wellness Initiative will hold Relaunch Day on April 15, 2022, with all three phases of implementation to follow this year.

Phase 1, Spring/Summer 2022: Invest. Does your business offer products or services in the eight dimensions of wellness? Ask how to join in the initiative as a provider, partner, community impact partner, or presenting sponsor!

Phase 2, Summer/Fall 2022: Refresh. Workshops for W.I.N. providers show how to utilize the network for maximum business promotion. Connect with other local providers through exclusive networking opportunities for referrals and partnerships with NetConnect events.

Phase 3, Fall/Winter 2022: Thrive. Mission accomplished as wellness benefits are rolled out to hundreds of member businesses and thousands of employees in West Volusia through the Wellness Initiative Network, the W.I.N. online provider directory and community app.
