The best wings in town!

The search is over, because the best wings can be found at Wings N’ Things, located directly behind Destination Orange City.

A family-owned-and-operated business, Wings N’ Things opened in May 2020 as a great place for people to relax and enjoy some good food.

“We offer a variety of food, from wings and ribs to just about everything in between,” said co-owner Johnny Henry.

Originally from Winter Garden, Johnny learned to barbecue in the backyard with his dad. “I picked up his tricks on how to make amazing food,” said Johnny.

Known for his barbecue at festivals and other events, Johnny decided to get back into the restaurant business after the pandemic hit. “I loved being outside, making barbecue at the different festivals, but after the pandemic all of the events got canceled,” said Johnny.

So after five years, Johnny decided to open up another restaurant, this time with his wife, Dena Henry. “My first place was a restaurant/bar and was called Johnny’s Ribs and Wings, but this place offers a wider selection, so I decided to call it Wings N’ Things,” said Johnny.

While Wings N’ Things has many different menu options to choose from, their most popular items are their garlic Parmesan wings and their weekend barbecue. “The barbecue ribs, pulled pork, or beef brisket are outstanding,” said Johnny. “We use a special kind of rub and seasonings that make it taste scrumptious, delicious, and mouthwatering. And while we have a ton of wing sauces to choose from, our garlic Parmesan is definitely a favorite.”

In addition to their famous wings and barbecue, Wings N’ Things’ other popular items include their Friday All You Can Eat Fish Fry, which features fish, fries, coleslaw and hush puppies all for $12.

They also offer $10 lunch baskets from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday–Thursday. “Customers can choose from nachos, pulled pork, shrimp and Philly cheesesteak, and the baskets come with a drink,” said Dena.

Wings N’ Things is located at 2400 N. Volusia Ave. in Orange City, directly behind Destination Orange City. They are open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
