George W. Marks Elementary School celebrated Arbor Day April 13 by planting trees on the school campus to replace those lost to a tornado on Aug. 18, 2020. Students dressed in headgear decorated with images of Earth gathered around to hear their mascot, Smokey Bear, and representatives from the Florida Forestry Service talk about the importance of trees.
